What time should you leave?
For a 7:30 PM start, the honest planning answer depends on where you are coming from and how much of the pre-show you want.
- From LAX — about four miles, but allow far longer than the distance suggests. Inglewood traffic around the stadium is the bottleneck. A 4:30–5:00 PM pickup is comfortable for doors.
- From Beverly Hills, Hollywood or West Hollywood — leave by about 4:30 PM on a Friday. Friday the 25th will be worse than Saturday the 26th because event traffic lands on top of normal commuter traffic.
- From Downtown LA or Santa Monica — allow 60–90 minutes door to door on a show evening.
- From Orange County or Anaheim — leave around 3:30 PM. The 405 northbound in the late afternoon is the variable, not the last mile.
Friday and Saturday behave differently. Friday stacks concert traffic onto rush hour; Saturday is lighter early but busier at the gates. If you are going both nights, leave earlier on the Friday.
Why a private car for a stadium show
SoFi requires every vehicle to have a pre-purchased parking pass. Arrive without one and you are turned away to offsite parking. Arrive at the wrong zone entrance and you are turned around and sent back through the traffic you just sat in. Prices also rise at the gate on event day.
A chauffeured car removes that entire category of problem: no pass, no zone map, no walk from a distant lot, and nobody in your group has to stay sober to drive. You are dropped at the designated passenger drop-off area and collected from an agreed point afterwards.
It is not the cheapest way to get there — Metro and the municipal bus services are, and we say so plainly on our SoFi Stadium transportation guide, which compares private car, transit and parking properly. A private car is the right call when you are a group, when guests are flying in, or when the evening is meant to be enjoyable rather than logistical.

How post-concert pickup works
This is the section worth reading twice, because it is where most concert transport goes wrong.
When a stadium show ends, phone signal around the venue degrades, rideshare pricing spikes, and traffic-control officers close and reroute streets that were open on the way in. Standing outside at 10:45 PM opening an app is the worst possible position to be in.
How we handle it:
- Your pickup point is agreed before the event, not after — a specific, named location that works with the night's traffic plan.
- Your chauffeur's direct contact is provided in advance, so you are not relying on an app to connect you.
- Pickup instructions may be adjusted for traffic management, venue rules and public-safety restrictions on the night. If the plan changes, you are told before you leave your seat — not while standing on a closed street.
- Expect a short walk. Private vehicles and rideshare are directed to designated areas away from the gates. Anyone promising you a curbside pickup at the door is describing something SoFi does not permit.
We do not have a special entrance, a reserved curb, a parking privilege or any venue affiliation, and we will not claim one. What we control is that a named driver in a known vehicle is waiting at an agreed point with your phone number already in hand.
If you would rather beat the exit entirely, leaving during the final song typically saves 30–45 minutes. Tell your chauffeur in advance if that is the plan.
